Equipment levels depend upon your market, and what that market expects. I have a 07 KJ CRD which is labelled a 65th Anniversary Edition. It is referred to as a Sport here but has all the painted fenders, bumpers, leather interior and sunroof. The only thing missing from the Limited pack (as sold in Ausrtalia) is the chrome side strip and the the EVIC. Cruise control, and other things that you may regard as options are standard equipment, so again its how your models are ordered that determines the differences.

Not sure where wiping off with a damp rag warrented your snappy little comeback but I think you need a little time out from the forum. The "STFU" was stepping over the line. Not all of use getalong here but we all are respectful of each other.

FWIW

I went with the Sport vs a Limited (yes, not a CRD...) because it didn't have the painted flares, painted rub strips, or any of that other stuff that was going to look like total crap after a few trail runs.

What I DO wish is that I got the red one instead of the Pat. Blue one I wound up with, for the same reason. the red doesn't show trail rash as badly. But maaaaaaaaan the blue looks good when it's all shined up 8)

Sam, didn't you just start a new thread recently about the cyclical nature of activity on this board? Might idiocy like this have something to do with this?

Oh well...turns out that I won't be getting that Grand Cherokee after all. Still owe a tick over $14k on my Liberty.

I see them selling all over the board between $11,000 and $14,500, but I'm not really in a dire need to sell...Just really wanted a Grand.

My little Liberty is sweet. Guess I'll toss some tires on her and keep her. Unless someone want to give me payoff for a pristine Liberty CRD with a bunch of good mods.

Steering wheel cover is nice man....really nice.

Much better than the cheap leather that comes from the factory.

As Chuck Mangione said, "Feels So Good". :)

I've been looking for a wrecked gasser for about a month and a half with no luck. I may not be looking in the right place or something though. I'm not interested in buying a full donor vehicle, just parts, so that limits me to the you-pull-it places around here.

One in a half to two weeks. Gonna have to drive it from Nashville to Seattle. I'm going to drive it 60MPH with the mirrors folded in and ty to get 35 MPG.

In mine, with the ORM (because I sometimes forget to plug the MAF back in before I get BACK on the road) I get about 26.5 mpg @ 83 mph (per my GPS, 86 mph on the speedo) with 8 oz of Powerservice silver bottle in a tank of ULSD on the stock tires. With diesel at $2.00/ gal, why punish yourself?

What's really fun is to set the cruise at 83 (that's the highest mine will cruise at), then slow down to 60 and hit "Resume." That little beastie will pin your ears back, my man. All in the interest of "setting the piston rings", of course. . .

Do you think you will really save enough to offset the $300 ticket you will get from doing that?

Going 83, or hitting "Resume" while going 60?

:D

I recently drove from Seattle to Phoenix and back and drove 60MPH the entire trip. No tickets and 62MPG!!!!

I'm not worried.
