Front Lights and Mounts - Lets see some

I want to add some lights to the front of my KJ. I saw someone had a single mounted light bar somewhere. I am Considering some KC Daylighters, or maybe something similar. I'd like to keep the whole upgrade under $150. Any input here is appreciated. Any special requirements I should be aware of? Relays etc......? I look forward to hearing from you all who are running Lights up front on your Kj's

Look at my Avatar to see what I did with my KJ...pretty simple, $80.00 gets you a pair of very bright Hella 500's and ALL the hardware you need to mount and wire them. That's the way i would reccomend going. If you want more pics just follow the "WWW" link after my sig.

I was looking for this setup also. Its very similar to Talon1's KJ if not the same. He got his here:

That White Night link above only shows thier rear lighting unit, not the front bar.

sorry i didnt be more specific... That company makes them, they just dont list them on their site, you have to call them and ask about them. A bunch of guys on the boards did a group buy from them awhile back and if we have enough interest we may want to try and do that again...

I just tried calling them and the guy i need to talk to had left for the day. I will try again in the morning and see if he is around and i will mention a group buy and see what he says....

Copy and paste and go here. You wil find that White Night System like the red jeep you like. It's under $150 so it shuold be what you want, i'm thinking of the same system. But i dont know how to install it with a toggle switch...uh-oh

Ok well bad news here, i just got off the phone from them and they explained that they had only 6 in stock (4 polished and 2 brushed) but they were all spoken for. He said that they sell for 179.95. I also asked him about getting a group buy together and he said that if they would have had them in stock and available they could have done a deal with me... He also said that if we still do want them he could have some made up but it takes 8 weeks :shock:

AND they would not deal on them because the price of steel :evil:

So, for me personally, i think i may try and see if that pepboys link has any in stock, it's a better deal anywase!

Guys, that would be easy money to make yourself, and if you don't have metal working skills, just print picture out and go to a local fab shop. I'm sure they could whip one out in no time.
