All these people having troubles with that 45rfe pos need to change it out for a solid 42rle. Seems it was built to last... 8) :twisted:

And on average the KJ's with a 45RFE has way more miles and is older then those with a 42RLE.

The 4.11's and 4:1 t-case make it live longer,less stress on it.

Hey, ThunderbirdJunkie would much rather have the transmission that lives behind a Hemi 1 ton Dually than the minivan thing behind the anemic 4.0I6 that should've been discontinued in 1974.

Remember, you just said that you have the same transmission that comes in something that weighs almost 1,000 lb less and has less power :lol: At least ThunderbirdJunkie can reverse up a 0.0000000000000000000001% grade at part throttle

pff automatic tranny's.. silly KJ's auto's are for the pavement :twisted: :lol:

i'll take my NSG-370 6speed with 4.46:1 first gear ratio.. specifically designed for jeeps (liberty and rubicons) and dodge trucks :) no minivan here 8) :twisted:
