I believe only the 2002's came with the bottle jack. IMO, they probably both suck. Barely worked with my stock suspension, I'm glad it broke so I can take it to the scrap yard and get my 50 cents its worth!


You don't even have that much in scrap value.

You're right, its probably closer to 10 cents!!

Get a light weight jack..

under 20 pounds if possible...

I had a heavy 60 pound floor jacks and haded to use it....

Sears and harbore friehgt have good deals from time to time.
and remeber to have a safty stands... this is why we have a back up on hand at all times...

I didn't know it was possible to break a jack like that.

My floor jack was Sears, on sale.
Works great, and I don't have any qualms using it, even though it's kinda heavy... it is on (little) wheels!

D*MN! My '03 came with the bottle jack. I actually used it in a road-side blowout once and it performed flawlessly. How old is that jack and how many times was it used? Is it possible that where you had it positioned caused it to torque out when you applied pressure? Scary stuff there!
