Hey diesel guys, or any others for that matter...

Seen this? If it is true that the diesel needs a spacer lift vs spring, or you can't afford the spring kit, here is another option.

Take a look at his feedback. 44 positive, 9 neutral and 12 negative for this month. Seems to be mostly shipping issues, a couple "item didn't match picture" posts and a few quality issues.

There was a huge discussion about this garbage over on the NAXJA forum. This guy talks a lot of crap, threatening everyone who leaves negative feedback or talks bad about his products with a civil suit (here comes mine now:D). Having built many jeeps and products of my own, I won't say anything about another product unless it appears to be a safety issue. Do your homework, but I pretty much gave you the answer, "Buyer Beware".

Looks just like the Teraflex lift I used on the front end as a temporary measure. It rode horribly...lots of coil bind. This is just a straight spacer lift and will really tighten up the front suspension. Stay away. He can threaten me all he likes...

I didn't look close at any of that, I just saw it and remembered the stuff about the diesels needing a spacer type lift... I thought it looked like a POS too, but did not know how it would do on the heavier deisel front end.

Ok As you read the Bad feedback about, Think what you will. I Persoanlly bought this lift, Installed it and it rides smooth Just like the factory. I even did some offroading and bounced my KJ all over the Place. No Problems. I believe you will find most of the issues abouve NOT to be with the product but with the shipping etc.......I had NO ISSUES. I like the lift. Thats my two cents. Check my site below for Pics!

How long ago did you install this? I hate to say it...but with this type of lift up front there is a very good chance it will destroy your struts / ride. My Teraflex spacer lift was great for about 3 months. Soon enough I started dreading bumps and dips in the road. Give an update in 6 months and let us know how it holds up.

I cannot justify buying something as important to safety as suspension pieces from a company that doesn't have name in the 4x4 industry...my .02

I would say it is in your BEST intrest to go directly to the manufacture of the lifts your reviewing to get thier answers. Others here will boast some lifts and "BASH" others. Its your choice, your decision, your jeep. Other lifts are used more then others, and some are better then others. Weigh all your options, and get that KJ Up!

Heres a Quote I recieved recently directly from the staff at http://www.billetlift.com

We have yet to have anyone that purchased one of our Liberty Lifts advise they do not like it. Since we were approved for our US Patent on this item over a year ago we have sold over 1,000 of them with great results. We now have Jeep dealers installing them on new vehicles. Everyone that has something bad to say has not purchased one.

Good Luck in your decision making!

on their Ebay listing they say they use 285's. Those wheels must have no back spacing to not rub with only "minor trimming" as they say. I like how they recently changed the name on their ebay account... looks a little fishy....

Took a few Pics today of the Billet lift. Its dirty under there! Well I do Live in PA, Just got a blast of a winter storm up here yesterday, So I went out with the jeep alittle bit. Since installing the Lift I have Been of-froad a few times, Just to shake things up and put this to test. Its been over a month now, and No major problems or issues yet. The lift rides nice, and gives the KJ a whole new look. As many of those who have not had many good things to say about this lift, My question to you is have you tried it? I am reporting my findings so far, and posting a few Pics on my car domain site. Anything major and or problems I'll be the first to report it here. Next report March 2006.

Just wanted to Put out a Update on The Billet Lift I've Purchased awhile back. Well Still No Problems, other then the USUAL KJ Problems and Lifting them. I've replaced my LBJ's under the recall, and Both Upper Ball Joints and Arms. Wish I could get AL's upper arms. Still Pricey abit. I don't blame the Ball Joint Problem on the lIft I blame it on Jeep for not allowing us to get a good 3" or higher lift. LOL The Billet Lift still functioning like the day I put it on. No Problems. Thats my 2 cents, and I know thats not much, but you wanted to know. Keep safe and Keep on Jeepin!
