Im in Cleveland, will be willing to meet almost most places. I prefer the mechwarrior cartoon quote of "Information is ammunition". But G.I. Joe is also fitting.

I am looking to do some camping up in Michigan over the summer. I plan on researching what options are available for offroading. If you have some options, post what you have in mind.

there is good offroad trails by my cousins cabin in st.helen. it would be free to stay at the cabin, just bring sleeping bags or whatever and he knows where all the trails are. i've been there before plenty of times with my liberty stock, and it still is pretty stock for now, and it handled everything very good. lots of sand and hills and woods. if anybody is interested let me know.

thanks
brian

You will never know untill you take it out. Mine was only 2 months when I took it to "The Badlands" and it did just fine.

Once you take it out, you will have a blast

We're ready to name you sub-chapter leader whenever you're ready to take the role and get guys around you organized.

Two words: Drummond Ilsand. It also happens to be one of the areas for Jeep Jamborees. I haven't gone, yet. (Workin' up the courage: I'm still stock). Aside from that, ANYWHERE in the U.P. has got old two tracks - many of which will get you axle deep in mud (I know, I have been  ).

Here's the link to this year's Jeep Jamboree in June http://www.jeep.com/jeep_life/events/ja ... sland.html

Actually, if you get much north of Grand Rapids, you can probably find some interesting trails

Genesee County has the Mounds. Thats a really fun place. I'm in for whenever as I live pretty close. I won't take my KJ out there again though. Way too much mud for the CRD imo, been there done that. I'll go in my Unlimited instead. Last trip out there in CRD I had to have rediator pulled out and cleaned.

Once it gets a little warmer, I'm up for a return trip to Michigan. Had a good time last time I headed that way.

As soon as the ground thaws - I am ready.

I'm on the West side of Mi by Holland.

I am all over silver lake when it opens this spring, there are also some local guys who have jeep outings, I will post them when they come up.

What all do you need to run in the Silver lakes area as far as permits, flags, tires etc. Just wondering as i would like to go up there as soon as it warms up, never been there.
Running Ats so would they get me around?
