This is a snapshot of the "Where am I now?" screen that shows current map info (none in this case, although I had it tracking my path in yellow), city and state, longitude and latitude, elevation and if on a street, it would list the street too. The data constantly changes as your position changes. On this screen, the map is only half the screen versus when on the "Map" screen, it takes up the entire screen but you can't see you elevation reading unless you go to this "Where am I now?" screen. Needless to say, I tended to keep this screen up while wheelin' the various mountain trails.

Nice! Those are the same wheels I want to put on my black KK after I get her lifted. Where did you get them and how much did you pay for them, if you don't mind me asking? Pictures please.

I got tint added over the factory tint. It's pretty dark now. :D Also I bought the paint and Silverstar bulbs for blacking out my headlights. Plan on doing that this next weekend and will post pics then.

I got the Jeep dirty this weekend. Photo to come, then spent a few hours Sunday cleaning the inside of it to get the layer of trail dust off everything.

Cut off my 3.5 inch tip and put on a 3.25 world of difference with my super44 b4 it was anoyingly loud sounded like an Indy car when I guned it now smooth mellow tone I drove 12 miles home with the windows down and the radio off. Heres my 2 cents on exhaust tips now if you go any bigger than stock pipe diameter it sounds like crap unless you have a v8 or a turbo to much back pressure build up and the popping gets anoying as heck.

I hear ya. I spent part of today de-dustifying my KK's interior after wheelin' in the mountains all last week (with the windows down since the weather was so great). Then washed the outside to inspect for exterior souvenirs -- a few light scratches on the passenger side from our last day of wheelin' that had a lot of brush close along the trail. Worked to lighten them up with some scratch remover / rubbing compound.

Your MyGig Nav is way out of whack, it shows you in Kansas. You should sell me that one, since it's broke.. :D :D

Actually, that lat/long shows you closer to Ironton, CO than Teluride.

rickm, I'm not sure if you've got an RER MyGig/UConnect or not and thus if you're kidding around or if you don't know that the "KS" is where I have my default state (for destination entry) set to.

Yes, the coordinates aren't next door to Telluride as we had already gone up and onto Imogene Pass and then only needed to drop back to US-550. Ironton, CO isn't a current town but rather is a "ghost town" (of ruins).

Today I installed THULE Rapid Areo bars with Rapid Crossroad foot mounts and a THULE fairing. I will be picking up some THULE folding J-Bar racks so we can mount the kayaks on the KK. So I am half way there with the roof rack system.

Yes, I was joking about the KS... but I don't have an RER, so if you want to sell me yours......well, then I'm not joking.

Maybe I'll find one on EBay soon

Okey here are some pic's of my newly installed THULE Rapid Areo bars with Rapid Crossroad foot mounts and a THULE fairing. The fairing made a big differance in removing the wind howl over the bars. Plus I think the THULE fairing looks good. Just need the matching THULE folding J-racks for the kayaks.
