Here are the custom 3/8" clevis lift spacers I made last night. For details, check out the Fabrication forum.

Yes, yes, I know I don't need spacers and I could have used the conduit washers but I am weird like that... :)

Not wierd at all. Great job fabbing those up. I will be adding a set to my struts soon. No reason not to for how easy and inexpensively they can be made.

Just finished up installing the custom spacers. Here are some pics.

Turned out GREAT! Man, I should have done the clevis lift a long time ago. It was pretty simple. Now I just need to get an alignment and finish up the CB ant. mount.

BTW, lift turned out EXACTLY as stated in other threads. The 3/8" spacer gained me almost an inch of lift!

If you have a 2.5" lift + no bull bar, why did you need another 1" of lift? 3.5" seems like it would alter you cv angles to an undesirable point unless rusty's lift sagged an awful lot.

Chemguy,
If you look at the side view pic of the KJ you will see that it is sitting pretty much level. After the Rusty's lift, the fron sat way down. It is my understanding that the lift only netted about 2" of lift after it settled. I have been reading numerous Clevis lift postings and noticed that most people with Rusty's lift were putting a 3/8" clevis lift and leveling the front with the back.

So, I should be at just under a total of 3" lift on the front which should be OK.

Also was getting quite a bit of rubbing of the front tires (BFG A/T 245/75R16). I am not sure how you could go any bigger without removing or trimming plastic.

you've piqued alot of interest. IF you had spare time, I bet people like me (those who don't have the time or tools to make these) would gladly give you a deposit to fab some up. It would really benefit me, since i have an ARB and a lift. Just a suggestion.

I'm not doing much of anything except working and driving back and forth between Kingwood and Nacogdoches (where my bf and my puppy are). It's gonna be a loooooooooooooong time before I have no Jeep payment! My sister is moving to PA in May and I'm considering moving back home so I can save up and lift the Rubi. It's just so hard moving back home after being out for so long! Anyway, how's the new job?
