OK, with Darrell W's order today, we are now out of LOST Rockies decals, and I have just under $200 of the club's money.

So, before I order more decals, are there any changes desired? I like them just as they are, and I kind of hope that we can leave them alone, but if anyone wants changes made, now is the time to do it.

We're also less than 3 months away from Moab 2006, so we need to decide what we want to do with the money. (We should probably start a separate thread to pick that topic up again.)

I love the decal the way it is. We should provide some prizes for the raffles at Moab. Also, we should try to get involved with some sort of group help there at Moab.

Hey Troy, since you got the money, I think the best thing to do is to call JJ or Clint and see what is needed for MOAB, then we can use what is left for a raffle prize.

That sounds like a great idea.

My only other thought is that if we were to get the club organized and dues collected during the next month or so, we could make a bigger splash.

But, given that this is our first year to try to help out, I'm sure whatever we can do will be appreciated.

1) I don't think the decals should change at all. I like the idea of having one standard decal that everyone will recognize for years to come. Personally, I don't like that the national sticker keeps changing every year. 'Nuff said there.

2) We should get another shipment of stickers as a first priority. At this time, they are our only source of income and we don't have a hard date for when we'll get everything set for dues.

3) With the remaining money minus $20, ask Clint what he needs from us since he's coodinating everything.

and lastly:

4) The remaining $20 should stay in the fund as a buffer.

Does everyone think this is a good idea?

Love the decal the way it is...don't fix it if it ain't broke.

As for Moab - Would folks be willing to donate $20 or so to the cause? I know I would. I'm not sure how many of us plan on going, but that should give us at least another $100 or so to use. We could do a little more then. Just a thought.

I agree with Pete on the decal.

Unfortunately guys I have stalled on the by-laws, so dues are probably still a ways out... Also remember we have Ourray coming too... So maybe Joel's Idea of a donation, or we could do that to raise funds for Ourray?

As I said, I have been busier than I expected to be with this school crap, today has been the first day I have been able to get on here and really just pass time and read and reply to threads w/o worrying about school... but I got to write another paper now, so I guess the fun time is over...

Nomad has generously offered to help us out with the decals, so I'll work with him to get those done.

I've contacted Clint, and he is excited about our offer to help out. More to come... 8)

I would be willing to just pitch in some cash if you can get the group organized (dues) or just a good ol' donation

I'm sure I can swing a donation for Moab and, if we aren't charging dues yet, also for the Ouray/Silverton Run. Let me know what you need.
