As some of you may know and if you don't know now you do, the 2008 and 2009 Liberty's have different oil filters. I don't know why it was changed but it is.

*note: The universal filters match up to the thread size and mounting diameter tho they may be a bit shorter or longer of the "direct" fit oil filters. They should work fine but there is no guarantee that they will work. They are just other options to try.

I have a 2009

I couldn't find the Fram Extended Guard XG10590 (or any other Fram 10590 for that matter)

The book said to use 10575, so I got the XG10575.

This is my first oil change on my used libby, and the filter i removed was the Parts Plus PH10060. From a visual comparison of size, the two filters looked identical, and the new XG10575 fit perfectly.
