H1's are designed to sink,with the deep water fording kit they can ford up to 60" of water and that is why they where designed to sink since you get better traction on the bottom of the river/lake then half floating.

Yeah - but that one was an H3 - and I'd bet the electronics will be randomly dying for years

H2/H3's are not Hummers in any sense but in the name.
