When I disconnect the hose going to the intake system, I'm assuming I have to block that off to eliminate an intake leak? Forgive me, Eurekaboy, for poaching this from your site

Also, when I unplug the MAF, can I clear the CEL, or will that be on eternally?

Yes, you'll have to plug the hose from the CCV to the turbo. Make sure you get a good set-up. Mine failed (see recent post) and I was sucking unfiltered air in the turbo, but I think I got it in time. If you unplug the MAF, the CEL will be a permanent friend. That's what the SEGR or GDE is for.

Thanks much- did the EHM today in about a half an hour, maybe 45min. tops.

I used a 3/4" pipe plug to block off the unused hose to the CAC (?) and then tightened a hose clamp onto it to make sure there is no leakage.

I'd seen that someone here just diverted the CCV into the framerail; I did the same. I found a convenient hole in the frame rail that was ~ 3/4" in diameter, and found that an old piece of PVC that I had laying around fit into it perfectly.

Should be a good compromise until I'm able to save up money for the GDE and the Provent (did the ORM at the same time).

Thanks to all who have contributed to my questions.

Cheers,
Chad
