I made it into the forum! It looks like the admins have had a rough going lately. I appreciate very much the time they spend administering the forum.

I bought a 96 CRD Limited in June on the advice of a good friend. Two days after I got it, the fuel solenoid went bad. It was disappointing and scary, but I had it fixed ($$$) and it has been running well since then. I have done the ORM and EHM myself and gotten a pretty good mpg improvement. If I work up the courage, the next project may be the Racor Fuel Filter. I am definitely enjoying tinkering with my Jeep.

This thing climbs like nothing I have owned before. Does it ever downshift? It is amazing to accelerate up steep paved roads.

Other than the initial problem, it is running well. All the bits of wisdom in this group have been very helpful to a newbie like me.

Welcome to the world of KJ's and the Lost forums. There are a lot of tech tips in the CRD tech only section that well help guide you through anything, and if not i am sure one of are highly capable personnel on hand can answer the question for ya.

HA HA ok anyways enough bsing, so where in northern co are you? I am down in Parker, CO, and working on a CRD SFA atm.
