hey guys finally have time to build one... messured everything yesterday and today started to cut out the metal... this is what i want it to look like... first thing is i don't want it to go past the body like most bumpers do... another wards where the flairs start. Right now i don't have a whinch so i'm not adding a cradle until later.

Image

instead of the bull bar i'm going with more of a stinger type bar. I'll post pics as it progresses...

Sweet. Your front reminds me of my buddy's rear on his WJ.

Try Por-15, works good, is durable and is self levelling.

It really does make the jeep look more finished and more proportionate.

What front sway bar are you using again?

Looks nice. The hammered black will give a gray look due to the hammering effect. Try plain Rustoleum gloss black, then clear coat. I've had ti turn gray after a couple of years due to not clearing.... but then I did thin it and spray on a car fenders so maybe that was the cause.

Looks very similar to Rock Lizard's first prototype front bumper. Sure would be nice if I had my aftermarket front bumper.

I love it.
When can I come by and pick mine up?
It's only a 5-6 hour drive.

the handicap spot is at work parked there to take a pic...

ga-repo, give me a call and we'll do it...

welding was done, here at the shop by kelly the owner...

the lights on the grill are blinkers and there will be some square marker lights. i wanted the blinkers out of the way so they will, not get smashed... markers will be recessed in the bumper...

still working on it when i have time. after hrs job. for some old reason this week we have lifted 3 kj's... kinda funny, oh mike can you allow tiggre on the forum? hasn't been able to get on yet...

the bumper will be finished before the ure trip on the first weekend of oct

For $22 you can get a couple of triangular LED sidemarkers that work great. I have them wired up with two wires and they come on with the parking lights AND they blink with the turn signals. I have mine mounted in the fender flares.
