Have had this on the to do list for 3 years, but everyone kept telling me not to do it

Well last night I started it, today I finished, some may like it, some may not, I DO!!!!
But when you start seeing cut bumpers like this remember who ( may of ) done it first
Already had a half circle cut out for the tail pipe so started there last night
Image
thats where I left it last night
Image
Then after I installed a new right side CV I went to work on it
this is where it ended, cut the top off the license plate and drilled a hole 3/4 " down to have it higher as well
Image
Image
Image

still a little sanding / filing to finish smoothing it out but overall done! No more snow and mud stuck up in there, so there!!!!!!!!!

JJsKJ wanted some side / full view shots so here you go!
Took the spare off for its mid year waxing in behind the brackets

Looks good!

Is that the Mopar hitch? That is what I have. It doesn't look bad exposed like that.

Looks great Tom!

What'd you do with your exhaust tip? Looks like you removed it today.

I really like the way that looks...
Too bad Jeep didn't design the liberty w/ that much "departure" angle in the rear....
And I really dig that hitch...
anyone have one they don't need like that?

If I wasn't so lazy I would pull the Kilby and hitch off , bet it would really look taller then!

So whats it worth to you today Daryl? Makes a huge difference in the sound, don't like mine now, not as low and rumbling like it was with the tip on. But doesn't look right with it on and it's all about looks ....right

Since I don't get snow here in Arizona, can you explain a little more about why you would want this done other than looks? I think it looks GREAT and it is similar to what I wanted to have done with a metal bumper, but then this economy went to hell and I never thought about just cutting away the friggin plastic. Great shots of a bitchin libby!
