Due to the overwhelming response to my images (ok, like four of you said you'd like to see more...who's counting?), I've brought myself back for an unprecedented sixth season. The first three are from the Arches Four Wheel Drive Road, the rest are from along the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands.

Nice pics!!

We just got back from a quick two day trip up there. The first three pics... Arches 4wd road, are you talking about the Tower Arch trail (Wells #3)??

In Moab, all the trails are fun, just some a little more than others...

Yeah, that's it...you cut off from the Salt Valley Road near Klondike Bluffs. A short 4x4 trail leads to Tower Arch (which we didnt visit because it looked like it might rain and we didnt want to get caught in a downpour...guess we gotta go back :P ), while the Four Wheel Drive Road heads south back towards Balanced Rock. The park map doesnt have a name for the road, and none of the rangers at the VC knew its official name either...the sign at the south end just says "Arches Four Wheel Drive Road". I mainly wanted to know the name so I could get a vinyl letter sticker at the silkscreen shop in Moab to stick on the back window.

It was a fun road...glad I waited to get skid plates before we tried it.

Okay... thanks. I thought that was the trail you were on. Wells just calls the whole trail Tower Arch. And yes, a return trip is needed. You can't never get enough of the trails up there OR in Ouray.

If you want, check out some of the pics from mine and Silverdiesel's recent trip HERE....
