Here's a link where a farmer has been using his tractor's disel exhaust instead of fertalizer for 2 years.

I always knew plants loved our fumes. It is the politicians that are the real problem, they only want their fumes being expelled while the regulate our diesels.

Add some carbon and the bacteria produce more.

As far as Politicians and taxes go, when I was in Ontario Canada last week, taxation of gravity came up.
I am sure some idiot in Ottawa is emailing another idiot in Washington DC and another Idiot in London and yet another idiot in Amsterdam.
If they tax gravity and we don't pay the tax, are they going to take our gravity away?

As an engineer, I'm forced to ask, "How does it work?"

I'm professionally cautious about claims that advertise large savings for small investment. Especially 'Green' claims in news articles. For all I know this guy spent $20,000 on a muffler bearing and is claiming it will save the earth...

CO2 in the soil and Nitrous Oxide in the soil may entice the soil bacteria to produce more nitrogen.
Having the academic community investigate would be a better use of the tax money that goes to their welfare than studying which beer cockroaches prefer.
Many years ago in Australia the academics could not figure out why the crops would not grow with all the witches brew they dumped on the ground. Then a farmer noticed the grass grew best next to the chain link fence. The soil was deficient in Zinc, they added zinc and the crops grew.
The guy in South Africa may have a shortage of carbon in the soil.
