Unfortunately I think it is the fact we are trying a weekday gig. Traffic is going to suck since they won't make 25 3 lanes from Denver. We could do 8 and they would make it, but then get home too late to go to work. I think 7 is about the best compromise for those who want to try the trip.

Just received this PM:

"Hey man, name's Ray and just wanted to let you know something I found out by accident. I seen you mentioned this restaurant here in Springs, never heard of it, and clicked on link. Today, the wifey and I tried to find it on 8th street and no luck, I just called both numbers, 8th street no longer in srvc and s academy number was some packaging company. Sorry for being bearer of bad news, I was looking forward to trying out a cajun place myself. Guess with economy way it is, coozans went the way of the dodo bird. Just a heads up, Ray
"

  ANyone have another suggestion? Preferably that is still in business...

I decided to keep pushing. Hit the springs about 4pm yesterday, just a head of the snow. Instead of sitting for a couple of days, I thought it best to keep heading east.

Hey all... thanks for coming out. It was good to put some faces with names.

On a more fun note... my heat stopped working just south of Pueblo... it was a chilly drive back.

My KJ seems to be going through a phase of some sort... adolescence?
