That one is not the worst one I've seen. they do need a better catch phrase.

maybe they can get Paul Hogan since subaru isn't using him anymore, they sold tons of Outbacks because of those ads with him.

Because they don't want to mess up their hair... :P

X2. I have never known a woman who would spend that much time on their hair and THEN go out with the windows down. If they had shown a bunch of prissy women getting into bimmers and then an attractive girl-next-door type in a baseball cap and jeans shaking her head and driving off in a wrangler (down a dirt road, Catherine Bach style), the commercial might have made sense...

They may as well say, "Jeep! we cater to prissy idiots who don't drive offroad and have more expendable income than sense."

Dan

Okay, I have to ask, Dan, were you old enough to watch the Dukes of Hazard in its primetime run...???

Seriously, there are plenty of young women (college age) here in Athens, GA (home of UGA) driving Wranglers with the top down (weather appropriate) with their hair in ponytails and ball caps, but the reality is simple -- NONE of them are driving JKs and NONE of them are Unlimiteds... Daddy ain't gonna spend that kind of money for his "Redneck Girl" to have a Jeep,...!!!!!

So, yeah, the commercials are bogus....

x2 in Austin around UT

in fact the main sales of Wranglers are to the convertible crowd - the competition is a Maita.

If the demographic that they are going after is the city hi-maint girls, then the Jeep needs a smoother car like ride. IFS Wrangler anyone?
