I'll be coming through Tuesday evening. Although, I'm sure the weekends are better for everyone else.

Yep, we had a blizzard near the Kansas City area, we've been snowed in the past few days.

We had about 6-8" on Wednesday and then another 2" Christmas night through yesterday.

Diesel....are you coming down I-25 at all or running across Colorado on I-70 only? We can try something along I-70.

We're taking I-70 and going North on I-25. Last week we took the turnpike that connects the two interstates. Does anyone know if they are charging automobiles to use the turnpike? We drove down the turnpike and it looked like all the toll booths were shutdown. I hope so, because we went straight through without paying.

we run payless tolls now ha ha. which means even though they are not manned anymore, you are still paying for them. you will get the bill in the mail 30days after the day you went through

Yep! They are taking pictures of the front and back of your vehicle to get your plates. I got a bill for $1.00. Hmmm...40+ cent stamp and inconvenience to mail it for a $1.00 charge......STUPID!!!!!!! What is the charge to pay it online?

There's a nice little restaurant/truck stop at the Airport Road exit on I-70 (I think it is Exit 285), but you would have to pass E-470 to get to it if you are coming from the East, if we get people to do a Meet and Greet there.

Like I said before Rhett, E470 is the only toll road in the Denver Merto Area. As long as you stay on 70, your all good.

As far as food, there are all kinds or places you could stop if you decide to.

At Tower (Right after Colfax and right after the speed limit drops to 65) there are a bunch of places. Their is either a chili's or Red Robin on the North side of 70 and there are a bunch of "fast food" places.

There is the Flying J @ Airport Blvd like Dave said.

At Chambers, there is a Sonic....and ummmm...more fast food  .

At Peoria, there is a nice little mex food place on the south hand side of 70 called old santa fe. 4Wheel parts is to the North...

At Havana, Jail to the south and, nothing to the north......

So you’re tellin' me that Colorado will contact Montana to get my address in order to send me a bill? Gesh, that seems a little impractical.

We’ll be staying at the KOA in Strasburg tomorrow Tuesday Dec. 29th near Bennett. So we’re game for a meet and greet anywhere suggested above. We’ll be traveling with our two dogs, so we’ll probably drop them off at the KOA Kabin and meet you guys of your choosing. We should be there by 5:00 PM no problems. Just let me know the time and place and we can meet you guys. I just ate some good Kansas City BBQ yesterday with ksKj and MtnLuvr…........good times. 8)
