I have 4.10 gears and 32" tires. I sit at 2000 rpm at 65mph. What's it all mean?

Yea, it's most annoying on 55mph state highways. With the F37, it's either risk a ticket or drive in 4th O/D

I actually prefer to be in 4th at 55-60 mph. Better throttle response and the rpms really aren't all that different. If I had it my way it wouldn't shift into 5th until 70.

I don't think I have the F37, about 1700 at 60MPH. So what is the big deal? Should I run down and pay the steeler to flash it for my 80K mile CRD? What will happen if I don't. It would cost at least $100 to have the dealer just hook up the computer to it, would sending the PCM out to be tuned work the same?

Maybe you don't understand :juggle: Most would prefer your un flashed TCM. Sending the ECM off to GDE would be a good move. We have seperaqte computers for the engine and transmission. F37 changes them both. The ECM can be undone but the TCM can't :dead:

If you want to go that route, I will actually PAY YOU for your TCM, AND provide you with a replacement that already has the flash. It will drop right in, no programming needed, with 5 minutes and one tool.

That's cold dude. :jester:

GDE needs to hurry up and crack the TCM. They've got at least two guinea pigs raring to go!

Until then, I'm just going to have to wait for my father to decide he needs a new car. He was one of those lucky '05s who got the F37 but not the TCM tune. Jerk.

His keys... Your hands... And a 10mm and 5/16 stubby socket.

Then you can send that good TCM to me, so he can't find it by driving your CRD. :jester:
