Toyota is probably building more vehicles in the US with US workers than GM is right now. All the domestic guys have to do is build cars people want to buy and they'll be OK. The fact that the Fed has taken over two of the big 3 only work against them. I wouldn't but a new domestic vehicle just on principle.

right toyota honda nissan and subaru and now I think even Kia has assembly plants in the USA. thats great but were do the final profits go?

American companies need to build reliable cars American consumers want and they will buy them.
