I installed new EBC brake pads and rotors in the rear. Seem to be very good quality. The units come with basic install instructions and instructions for brake bed in and use. They have a thin bed in coating to get you started with your new rotors. It says that the brakes will grip even better after they are bedded in. My thought right now is that even with the bed in coating they stop much better than my old crusty set. I would do the front but the front is new OEM style equipment and I just can't throw em out. I will be replacing the front with the EBCs when they are worn. A few pics.

I think I will be replacing the calipers here real soon just to get some more of the New York salted parts of the KJ to make them look more Arizona like. :ALONE:

Where did you get them neatus? Are EBC's ceramic?

And the stock pads are ceramic kj 119 so you shouldnt have brake dust(very little) anyway.

Why replace the calipers? Why not just paint them?

The set-up looks good.

I painted mine grabber green engine paint to match the greens, and it's holding up great. Look's cool too.

I remember brake dust. Also remember buying that wheel spray.

Wheel spray savings per year-25$

I want to know where you got the slotted only rotors and the yellow pads for the rear. I downloaded their 2010 catalogue the other day and I did not see either of those listed for the KJ. I only saw OEM rotors or slotted and drilled. Did I miss them or something?

I actually went through and read reviews of the red, yellow and green stuff pads and figured the yellows were best for my application. They grip well when cold right of the bat. I am digging them right now....I may just have to replace the front prematurely just to add the stopping power.

EBC makes some good stuff. Ran the greens and the rotors on my old Focus hb. Night and day difference between those and the stockers.
