Hello everyone...

I know that this question was asked like a 5689786546 times. but i want to be 100% sure,
in a 06 renegade with 2.5" lift, which tyres are the best (with no rubbing)?
im thinking about 265/70/16, or 255/75/16 (both of them mud). can i go bigger with no rubbing? like 285/70/16 mud?

thanks for your help.

Honestly, they will all rub a little. It just depends where and how much.

Typically folks go with the 245/75/16 size. It fits the wheel well really well with just a little rubbing on the swaybar at full lock. If that is a problem then you can buy wheels with a bit more offset which moves the tire off the swaybar (most live with it once they see how little the rubbing is).

The 255/70/16 is also run by some. You'll probably have the same contact on the swaybar, but it could be slightly worse due to the added width. These are shorter than the 245/75/16 size.

If you want to go bigger then you could run the 265/75/16, but be warned...there will be cutting and pounding necessary to fit these tires (or "tyres" ).
