I hear and read a lot about Dana this and Dana that, new process ,etc.What exactly does the KJ have? Are all KJ's alike . I have a Liberty 4x4 Sport I bought used. How do I know what I have? Help!!!!!!

The KJ has a Dana 30a front diff and Corp. 8.25 (Unless you had a 4banger 02, which had a Dana 35).

the transfer cases are all NV231 or NP242 depending on if you have command trac or selec trac

Our 8.25 is a little special, it came with 29 spline axles as opposed to the 27 splines found in the XJ's
