Ok I was at CarDomain.com and saw this dudes Renegade. And it had the "RENEGADE" sticker on the roof rack. I THINK IT LOOKS BAD stupid! I'm trying to figure out where he got it from. I have seen the stickers on the hoods and such around here. But this sticker looks to be bigger? So I kinda jacked this dudes pic to put it on here to show everyone, and see if I can get some help finding it. I found the sticker at (http://www.motorcitydecals.com/jeep_006.htm) but it says the big sticker is 1.2" by 24" and the one on this black KJ looks to be bigger than that....correct me if I'm wrong. If this is your Jeep, sorry bro...but take it as a complement.

HELP!! I WANT THAT DECAL!!

Yep. measure and tell me what size you want, and I'll get it made. I actually have an order in at the sign shop right now, so if you move quick I can get it in.

How about something that sits at the top of the rear window, between the hinges, that says "Diesel Power" ? :)

I believe the one in the pic above is the same large one we all have, the 24" one. I considered putting mine on the rack and held it up there. It looked about that big. But again, hit up Pix and let him custom make em whatever size u want.

The area between the Hinges is in the path of the rear wiper. I have a decal there and so far the wiper has not destroyed it, but its just a matter of time.

I'd say it'll be OK for some time. The very tip of the rear wiper doesn't have that much pressure that It's gonna rip off the decal. Heck, I replaced one of mine with a newer design and had a real hard time removing the old one even with a razor blade.

If these are made with quality outdoor vinyl, they'll stick for quite a while.

someone who has tupperware will have to measure. I have an '05, so no tupperware.

Again, I am willing to make these in whatever size you please. I have the real artwork, not a scan, and can resize it to whatever.

Why was my reply deleted about a website that had these? I took the time to do screen shots and post the pics of a web site that has an online decal maker with the exact font used. I was just trying to help out some people that were interested. So much for helping Does someone have a monopoly going on here with the decals?:x

I would hope that's not the case. I'd be really dissapointed in this site if posts were being deleted that may help others to find something they need just because someone on the site is selling a similar item. I'd be interested to know what the reasoning was myself. None of the http://www.motorcitydecals.com/jeep_006.htm posts were deleted. Sure u didn't do something wrong in the posting that caused it to not post?

I don't know who deleted you other post, but that screen shot you posted of the L.O.S.T. KJ version is not cool at all.
How much money is that site going to donate back to this forum to pay for it? Windshield decals for L.O.S.T. KJs are available last time I checked and All the proceeds from their sale goes back into this forum. I understand that anyone can use that site to make Any decal, but using that site to make L.O.S.T. stickers is taking away from this forum.

As for the Renegade version, I could care less. It isn't related directly to L.O.S.T. so it doesn't affect this forum. I don't think anyone should have deleted your screen shot of that sticker regardless of whether or not they are selling their own version. Those interested can compare the two and chose which one they want to pay for. Either way, I don't think the money from the renegade stickers is coming back here.
If you wouldn't mind, could you please edit out your screen shot of the L.O.S.T. sticker?

I will defend myself and say I did not delete that post. I am smart enough to know that competition leads back to more business for me a lot of times once people learn how bad the service there can be. I am not a dishonest moderator and want to make sure I am not labeled as such.

That said, I do find it really disrespectful when in every single decal thread I pop into, someone has to mention one of these websites, even though I have offered exactly what the person wanted. It seems to me that if thier needs have already been met, at a good price, why bother with that? Maybe its just my point of view and its different for everyone else. In any case, I try to support businesses that work with the club, and I hope everyone here does the same.

I do agree with JJsKJ, it is against club rules to produce stickers that say LOST anywhere else but with me at this point. When I do em, I give my profits back to the club. L.O.S.T. KJ is copyrighted and is one of the few means we have to bring money back to the club.

I understand wanting to keep the money in the club. If pix can offer a product at a similar price we should obviously go with him.

Pix - it would prob help if u put up a page or link where members could go to see some samples, colors, etc of what u have available for the club all in one place instead of scattered posts. I think people would be more inclined to buy if they could actually see what u have with a price list. I think that's one of the reasons people go elsewhere.

ON THE OTHER HAND, How much free publicity is the club going to get from that decal which was purchased elsewhere? I would think that the word of mouth from someone who has a decal made by "someone else" would more than offset the few dollars (if that much) the club would make off the actual decal sale. Seems to me that making such a federal case out of where someone purchases a decal is only going to lead to bad blood and ultimately foster the kind of attitude we don't need here.

Just look at all the people who have signed up for lifetime memberships, bought MOAB gear, calendars (which sold out) club decals, etc. There is obviously no lack of support for the club. I think we need to lighten up on the decal issue. People have a choice. They know what's available. Let them make thier own decisions and don't censor it.

Personally, I've had tokens and business cards made up at my expense to promote the club because I believe it's a great thing. I bought my hood decal from someone else. Should I be taken to task for this?

Just my .02
