Has anyone needed to install 2 inline flow thru lift pumps?

I have one and can't see why you would need two. Where you you put the second one, near the filter head? Mine is near the tank.

I would locate it in the engine compartment, attached to the available side mounting holes near the battery.

I have one on my recently acquired Libby, bolted to the engine, right next to the fuel filter assembly. The Lovecraft filter unit is heated with a line tapped right off the Viscous Heater and has no manual bleeder, just the electric lift pump.

Whoever owned this thing before had a Lovecraft kit on it, but took everything but a few now useless components off including an aftermarket fuel gauge, a switch for the fuel gauge to switch between tanks, and the fuel filter assembly with lift pump. My best guess is it had a Veggie oil tank setup on it before, so I'm only hoping the fuel delivery system post-filter is all still in OK shape

Sounds like it ran veggie with a lot of shade tree engineering. I'd get rid of it all and start over. I have seen two pumps on a Dodge/Cummins Class 8 race truck. Two Walbros plumbed parallel for the ultimate reliability.
