The mechanic that told me to use 911 used exactly your logic to recommend it. I put in a bottle with a fresh tank of petroleum diesel, circulated it throughout the tank. lines and filter via an external pump to emulsify the water and get it back into the fuel, let it sit overnight, pump out all the fuel and discard it, put in a new filter, put in a fresh tank of fuel, bleed off a gallon or so and try starting. It worked so I assumed that this was acceptable advise to give to someone else with similar problems. My issue was with petroleum diesel and had nothing to do with BD. The tank at that station had water at the bottom of the tank and I got the dregs. They refunded my money and gave me $100 to cover other costs. I don't use PS on a regular basis since the climate that I live in rarely gets below 40°F. I have a bottle in the garage and I dose the tank if I go to Utah to visit my family in the winter. My brother runs it in all of his vehicles in the winter and has never seen ill effects from it's use.
Your statement "a truly Canadian " I'm sorry" for the nerve I have touched and may your Powerservice take you many miles down the road". Makes it clear that you are indeed not sorry and that you think anyone that uses this product in any shape or form must be a moron that just picks something up and dumps it in their tank.
This vividly reminds me why I quit frequenting this forum. There used to be friendly, intelligent exchanges taking place. If you have information that this product is bad just share it instead of eluding to it and taking personal shots at people to try to make yourself look superior.
Good day to you all.
