I'm trilled with the economy, high 19's to just over 20. Then again I came out of a crew cab long bed F-250 4x4 diesel. Had a programmer on, but with the DPF not much you could do to boost mpg's. Had to baby the thing to get 15 mpg.

Adjust your tires so they wear evenly. Might get 1 more mpg with over inflated, but the cost difference in replacing them likely won't even out. Instead of hammer down when the light turns green, ease into it slowly getting up to speed. Need to adjust your driving to Granny Blue Hair on check day style.

Why add on moe weight? LOL I try to empty out my truck every week to loose some extra weight not needed.

I also keep the tire pressure checked.

I never tried it but some people think filling up around town is lots of extra weight. Keep your truck below 1/2 a tank. Half a tank weights 55#.

Clean air filter. Have tried K&N on my other truck not noticable.

After market muffler. Have tried it on my other truck not noticable.

After market spark plug. Have tried it on my other truck not noticable, but bad or worn do make a difference.

Lighter Rims would help.

Lighter Tires would help.

Narrower tires would help.

Should I even say this a lower stance less wind resistance..... (NOT an option for me!)

What are some add-ons (good ones) that would add to my mpg? I know an air intake would, but how much would it actually help me? Also what add-ones will help my hp? (other than a chip) At this point I am not ready to add a chip on my jeep with only 7k miles :D

Thanks all

Add-ons: None
Changes:

1. Switch to fuel efficient tires. Keep the stock 225/75/16 size.
2. Switch to full synthetic oil.
3. Drive like a grandma. (Accelerate slow, never go more than 65, coast to a red light, etc).
4. Use A/C only at highway speeds. It is proven that newer A/C systems are more efficient at highway speeds than the drag caused by keeping your windows down.
