Made you look. Actually, the KJ got sold two days ago. Wifey cried when the new owner drove off in our KJ. I'm now driving a natural green Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. :D

Let me know when you guys hit the trails. I need to get this new rig up in the mountains. Probably looking to keep my mods pretty modest with this one - 3" lift, 35s, GOOD rock rails, and some diff protection and I'm done.

Nah, I've still got respect for the Liberty. As long as you guys don't mind wheeling with a JK then I don't mind the occasional tug from a KJ/KK.

So apparently the bumper on the JK sticks out about 6" further than I am used to with the KJ. Today at Barnes and Noble I just about drove over a Honda Civic while parking. Thankfully MY bumper dented and not the Honda's. You'd never spot it, but I know it is there and it pisses me off.

Now I just need to get on the trail so I can tear that plastic piece of crap right off and get a REAL bumper.

Congratulations!
I’d love to have a Rubicon 4 door JK. At this point, LOST ROCKIES can’t lose any members.

I actually remember a day on the Old, Old kjJeep.com board when I was the ONLY member from Colorado. I think Ted was close behind along with TokyoJoe and Pete. And that was really it for a long time. I'm willing to take on some more duties at this point at least as far as getting some trail rides and meet and greets going. Hell, I'm going to need to have a lift party at my house REAL soon.

I'll be installing a new bumber and skids next weekend if anybody wants to join in!

We'll see - the UPS man is bringing so much stuff to my house I doubt it will all fit in the back. Front and rear bumpers, wheels/tires, 3.25" coil lift, flat fenders, seat covers, husky liners, diff armor, and various skid plates. Yeah, I went a little nuts, but I just wanted to be done with the bulk of my mods right away.

When Angie got home and opened the garage door last night I had the sawzall in my hands and that crazy look in my eyes. She gave me the  look and I started cutting some steel. The rear wheel wells and stock rock rails have now been modified for the 35" tires I have on the way.

It'll definitely be up on jack stands the majority of this weekend if anybody wants to stop by. Working on this thing looks like a breeze after years of fighting with the IFS on the KJ. :D
