I have the Carolina Rock Shop rails on mine. They have holes for hardware, but I had mine tig welded on. There are no pinch weld provisions, but I can honestly say that none are needed on mine. I can jump up and down on them and they don't give. The entire Jeep bounces. I have jacked the side of the Jeep up using them and a high lift and I very often use the mounting tubes (that run to the frame) as a place to put the jack stands. They are solid. I did bend one of the tubes that stick out of the side (for extra body protection), but the bend is very slight and you have to look at it just right to see it. The main slider has been abused and shows no damage other than scratches.
So, I have come down on a rock hard enough to bend the outer tube without ANY damage to the pinch weld. Mine are mounted with the mounting tubes right up against the pinch weld. I asked the guy welding them for me if he thought I should cut the pinch weld in a slight arc and push the tubes up against it and weld them to the pinch weld. He assured me that it wouldn't be needed, that they would be plenty strong enough. I have to agree after abusing them
Now the bad news. I don't think Andy makes them any more. I think CRS closed doors and Andy is working at another shop. PLEASE correct me if anyone knows for sure or if this has changed again. I think he still does some stuff on the side in his spare time though and he may make some on request.
