I know we had talked about doing a lift party in the near future, but when I got home from work last night that UPS package was waiting for me. Couldn't help it - I'm now lifted. I have 21.5" of clearance under the rocker guards! Complete details here: http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthrea ... post424124

Ted, I don't have your patience.

The amount of aftermarket parts available for the Wranglers is rediculous. And the competition results in VERY inexpensive parts. I bought a full coil lift with 4 shocks for $379...and it rides just as well as my stock suspension. I could do a long arm kit for $1000 if I wanted. Just crazy.

I had fun with the KJ but I'm on easy street now and I'm loving it. Working on the SFA is also a whole different beast...SO EASY and FAST to take apart and put back together. I had the front of my lift done in under 2 hours (pretty dang good for my skill set).

Wheeling with this thing is going to be so easy it will be like cheating. I can't wait...

By the way, you can get a new cruiser for $130/month and insurance at about $10/month (at least I can).....since you are on Easy Street, now. :SOMBRERO:

Moab, eh? What's the occasion?

I'm still waiting on some backordered skid plates, but provided those show up I might be able to swing Moab.

I'm dying to get out there. I'm waiting on an oil pan skid and an evaporator canister skid...kinda important stuff if I want to do anything real fun. After that I'm ready to go. Or if you're doing something moderate I'm ready to get out there now. Just let me know.
