Yup, they may tell you to unplug the ECM check and clean the plug and plug it back in. One tiny piece of trash on the pin that communicates with the TCM will result in more lies that what goes on in Washington DC. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Try the unplug clean and plug back in trick?
Could not get my desk top to boot or display anything on the screen making it totally useless. Up plugged the memory put it back in, presto, it worked. One speck of dust can keep a pin from connecting when there are many pins the chance of that happening is multiplied.
The ECM has a lot of pins to connect, give it a try, what do you have to loose?

Where do you get the tcm flashed and how much does it cost

Suncoast currently offers a TCM flash for $250... others are on their way soon and rumor says they offer more than just a pre-F37 revert.

GDE TCM Flash is in the works, and should integrate well with the ECU flash performance capabilties. Talk to Keith.

WOW, didn't know anyone had a TCM flash available!!! I'm getting excited all over again. :D

Tru, 2 tru. Long nights in the garage trying to figure this all out...now I look like this -->

Sometimes you just have to step away and take a break. :) But last time I took a break from working on cars, I sold one and bought another...now I have a whole new car 2 work on...the possibilities are endless...lol

But we are selling our other car and getting down to 2 cars now. Anyone want to buy a 2005 toyota corolla XRS w/6 speed 170bhp, complete factory TRD suspension options? It's been a great car, decently fast, handles good, fun but not harsh suspension. We just did a brand new clutch, brakes, tranny fluid, coolant flush. Good to go for another 100k miles now...just change the oil every few miles and it'll go forever. :) We are going down to 2 cars so I can put in for an overseas assignment and only have to pay for shipping 1 car (AirForce pays for the first one I pay for the 2nd one).

I'd better get those tstats done before I go overseas...shipping to you guys will be horrendous otherwise...LOL :ROTFL:

The military's all about hurry up and wait... they can't possibly have you on your way over in under six months, right? You've got plenty of time! :P

By the way, your new new ride looks awesome!

I volunteered for an assignment, won't find out for a month, but early reporting is authorized..IE I can leave the day I found out about it. But no worries, I wouldn't HAVE to report till September...thats if I even get it, and chances are slim.
