DirtyKK, I have been thinking about that backbone system for about 6 months now but just couldn't get up the confidence to cut the bumper. I am very interested in hearing about your experience with that part.

As far as my jeep is concerned, just changed the oil and preparing to clean some rust off of the skids.

Dude ill tell you the install was kind of a pita because of stuff not lining up but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some extra metal cutting, bending and hole drilling. I was nervous about cutting the bumper to but took my time and cut a little at a time and still managed to cut too much off and made it look like crap. I'm gonna plasic weld pieces back on and repaint the bumper or something. Then use some of the door trim around the edges so you can't tell if the cuts aren't straight. Some of the bumper cut out of the middle is what holds the bumper on but its still on there fairly secure. Plus now that I've done the cutting I can provide measurements so it should be easier for the next person.

No, due to all that has been going on, I haven't been able to post that I also got a new job. I start it in about 8 hours :dizzy:

Basically I'll be building the generator section of wind turbines, or so I am told :shock:

The computer that controls all the lights/sirens in the car decided its time was up and took a crap on me.

Found another one used and its being shipped to me monday, will post the entire car when everything is back up and running.

The car has

2 siren speakers behind the grill
Headlights flash
lightbar on the pushbar
6 strobe heads in tails/turn signals
rear window lights
back window lights
Lightbar that spans the windshield.

i bend all the brackets out of aluminum flat stock and a bench vice.

Been trying to get everything adjusted right so my driveshaft will stop hitting. Turned my bump stops upside down and that seemed to help with hitting the top bump stop more square on. Before it would kinda hit the side of it because the top is skinnier then the bottom. Made a small adjustment to the trackbar. Pounded in on the tank skid a bit cause with it catching it kinda made a lip that stuck out further. Gonna get a muffler thrown on tomorrow or monday, whenever the shop down the street is open anyway. Hopefully this will make it all work out.
