probably 53013813AA - but it doesn't show a image in the parts listing - just the label
COVER, Engine

Lots of folks threw theirs away - might ask if someone just tossed it in the garage.

I've got one in my garage. PM me with how much it's worth to you.

Where are you located?

So I gotta ask, why do you want an engine cover?

I'm not using mine either. It's a waste of plastic that traps heat and reduces the beautiful song of the diesel engine.

BUT....when it will come in handy is if I ever decide to sell the CRD. Prospective buyers will like the neat looks of the engine bay with the cover on much better than what they see without it. And that might earn you more cash on the sale which is why the cover is worth keeping in the garage.

I'm pretty certain it helps keep the engine cleaner. Mine is covered in the fine dust when I get back. All that would be on the engine if it were missing.

I actually feel the opposite way. When I got this CRD, I pulled the cover and threw it in the garage and my engine was NASTY. A thick layer of dust on it. They had detailed the engine at the dealership, but the top of the engine was missed because of the stupid cover. Now...when I wash the engine bay it all gets clean.

The engine cover also traps heat at the top of the engine. If you have Provent hoses running across your engine (which has to be done on right hand drive models to access the one location the Provent can be mounted) then the engine heat will affect the hoses much quicker if the cover is left on verses taking it off. Heat will eventually break down the hoses, I'm on my third set now so have removed the cover permanently.

I keep mine on a shined-up so I look gangster. I've found zero impact on how hot the motor is while in the desert or driving through the real mountains of the US or any other terrain I've been through from sea to shining sea.
