Lifts are a huge liability for dealers. Most won't deal with them on a new car and on used, there's a concern on reconditioning the trade for resale.

I can understand that concerning the lift and oversized tires....but what the heck does the trailer hitch got to do with resale or liability. Trailer hitches are usually considered a trade-in asset.......

Some think that if they see a trailer hitch it means that it has towed 20,000 lbs every day of its life and the tranny is ready to drop dead.
