Thanks for sharing your experience. Did the Suncoast unit shudder from the beginning or did it take awhile to show up? If it took many thousands of miles to show up then it could be the bolts backing out. If it was present right from the beginning then I find it extremely hard to believe it can be blamed on the bolts especially since you torqued them to the correct spec with your torque wrench.
I also didn't get shudder with the old TC with GDE Hot Tune at WOT runs as the TC wouldn't lockup at the lower rpm's where enough torque was generated to bottom the springs out. But once locked up in 3rd-5th if my rpm's where below ~2k I could get shudder at will.
