Hello All,

It's been a long time since I checked on this forum!!! It still amazes me at the info that is shared by everyone.

I have studied the threads on the CAC hose issues but my search skills stink so I'll see what comes of this question.

With the failures of the OEM CAC hose did Jeep ever do anything about this problem? My CRD had 63,000 and it needs a set of hoses... I'll use SAMCO but was wondering if what if any help Jeep was on getting hoses?

Is BoostController the best source for SAMCO hoses?

Thanks

Tom

There are newer, more durable, CAC Hoses available from Mopar today... Check on moparpartsamerica.com

Boostcontroller is probably your best bet for Samcos, which is what I would recommend.

The mopar ones only fixed the side that blows the most often - if you want both sides fixed - it needs to be Samco.

I am still hoping that someone figures out how to fabricate a stainless or aluminum set.
A few tries have been made but so far none to fruition.

x2

Only one side seems to have the fixed inside with silicone. I went through boostcontrol because of this site and I am VERY happy. The hoses came in a few days, and they work well. I had to double up clamps on one side though because they seem a little soft, and I had to wrap some old garden hose around a few components that have sharp edges and rub.
