I have the Rancho lift with 245/75 MTRS, Did no trimming, I rub slightly (or did) on the inner bumper which is no biggie, but yes you will most likely get sway bar rub. I didnt even pound the welds on mine, haven't had a problem. You will probably have rubbing there are some lucky few who dont. You will have to wait and see

correct 4" lift, Its definitely not helping my CV's thats for sure, so far I haven't had issues. But some guys most notably JeepDawg had several problems with his CV's blowing out on his Frankenlift so, I dont think anyone can give you an answer thats 100%, maybe TJKJ will chime in.

you wont have rubbing at first.... you WILL get it in about 6 months when that $#!tty crustys kit starts to sag...... i had the rustys kit on for about a year and just replaced it with Rancho/OME stuff.... do yourself a favor and do it right the first time. that crustys kit will sag and will piss you off. mine sagged about 1-1.5 inches in the front. i have 245/75/16's on stock renegade wheels. i had spacers at first and had a little rub. then i took the spacers off and had no rub til the front sagged like grandma boobies. now i dont have the spacers on and the new lift and it doesnt rub at all.....

how bout the rockfather II or delux? that be ok? I wanna lift thats safe my cv's, and can support and arb/winch without sag..if any of you can recommend a kit or piece together all the parts, specifics like where to buy the iso's sizes, struts, shock and coils, i know i've read rancho stopped making those shocks that people keep talking about, anyways, i would be VERY grateful if ya'll can tell me how to do this, thanks.

seriously, save the 600$ and do a rancho/ome when you can. You will find that no matter how many times you ask about different lift kits, your always going to be told to go the rancho/ome/frankenlift/billstein way. The other lift kits and spacer kits actually do more harm than good. They take your old sagged springs and compress them more, not providing a better ride or handling at all. And for twice the money as the kits you mentioned you could do it right and have a vehicle with a upgraded suspension that will save your wallet in the long run.

this is true.... use OME coils (927's/948's)... get some shocks and struts ( Ranchos, Bilsteins, OME's).... the 17505's are awesome if you can still find them. along with the 17004's in the rear. Rancho discontinued the RSX line so you may find some still out there.... you use all your stock hardware like isolators, top plates, and all that good stuff. if you want more, add extra isolators to the rear and a top plate and/or conduit nuts to the front.... ive got the above mentioned lift with a 3 nut clevis and one extra upper iso per side in the rear. ive got a 3/8" top plate and one more set of upper isos to add here in a few days. that is about the most you can safely do and not hear complaints from the cv's.... that setup is a much cheaper alternative to the frankenlift.... and dont forget the bumpstops. you will need them..... a-arms arent a bad idea either. you can get those with the money you will save by piecing together your lift.....

p.s. i havent heard many good things about RRO.

Seriously, thats all you will find people saying is to do it right. I even did it right as a college student with low funds, and we all know what thats like.
