I made my own so idk what Marlin sends for hrdware in the kit. My stock upper bumpstops compress a lot and I have a lot of bottom bumpstop because of that, otherwise the tank skid and driveshaft hit(which they do now again anyway). When I have free time I'm taking the skid off to cut the lip that hits, it shouldn't make contact again after that and if it does it'll just scrub instead of bending metal and making it worse. Then ill fix my bumpstops accordingly. I'm probably still going to get a driveshaft made one of these days cause it is still limiting rear suspension travel. Also, since the axle is more to the right my tire on the left side rubs in the wheel well cause its closer to the body.

On another note, I will be away for work in the middle of October and my Jeep is scheduled to get regeared and an ARB installed while I'm gone. I was gonna do it sooner but decided it would be best to do it then since I won't need a vehicle.

No, what I got (back in April '09) were hex head bolts. You can see the head in this photo I took this past March when changing the OEM rear bump stop (which is really chewed up) before I headed to Moab in April.

Scar0, yeah, good idea regarding swapping to some type of round head bolt. Just hasn't been a priority for me to address recently but it would be worthwhile.

I got some bumpstops like that where the bolt is on the inside and won't tear up the upper bumpstops like mtnluvr's picture. Only issue is they are too short and were causing to much flex and the driveshaft/skid plate contact. Once I get that lip cut off the skid, hopefully his weekend, I will reinstall those w/ stock bumpstops and see how it works. If it doesn't and I get tire rub in the wheel well ill add more bumpstop. If it is plenty of bumpstop for the tires ill get a driveshaft.

Tried installing a full size spare in the stock location... no way unless the tire was flat or somethin haha. Without a hitch it would but then I have no rear recovery spot. Guess I found a good location for my air tank.
