Guys I hate to break the news to ya, but the old school long trails are discontinued, there is a newer long trail t/a tour, but is a completely different tread than the venerable long trail(aka radial long trail)

I believe were talking about the newer Long Trail tires designated as "TOUR" in smaller black letters instead of raised white letters like the rest of the description. I read they started with the casing used on the older LT's because of the good reputation they have and designed a new tread for those of us who only occasionally go off road but often see snow. I've not been through a winter yet but with my little bit of beach driving in the sand I think they'll be great. At 70 MPH exiting the freeway they are very sure footed almost to the point of them reading my mind
I have a set of Cooper Discoverer H/T on my XJ and they are working out well on it but I don't think they are as "refined" for road use as my Long Trail tour are.
