It's popular and well marked so you won't have any trouble taking it without any of my help...
But seriously... I have no interest in that trail but it's popular among people visiting MOAB. When I was in MOAB two weeks ago Dan Mick was going on about ugly fencing that was put up and ruins the deal for tourists but I have not seen it. The trial "Fins-n-Things" is a good prep trail before diving in the deep end.
The best trial in MOAB area happens to be the hardest trail in Canyonlands, but KJs do it all the time
, is Elephant Hill Rd. The reason why LJS folks miss out is because they don't want to drive 55 miles to the trail head. It's the only trail that combines all the elements that MOAB is famous for:
scary edges
narrow switchbacks
fast baja-style tracks
amazing views
slick rock
rock crawling
ancient artifacts
hiking trails to more amazing views
a full day of backcountry fun
Elephant Hill is a transformative trail.
Another must-see trail that I take anyone visiting is "Top of the World" which is a cool trail that goes up a ledge that's 1500 ft over the valley below. There's no slick rock but there's a fair bit of moderate rock crawling.
