I sandblasted and cleaned up the crossmember today. Hung it in the paint booth and primed it.

I'll top coat it tomorrow. I was planning on doing a final ( :ROTFL: ) fit test for it this weekend. Then the plant manager asked if I could work Sat. and Sun. 7 - 3:30 and he'd pay me overtime! (They've been giving us Comp. Time! ) If it involves them paying me MONEY to be there I said I would!!! There goes this weekends plans!

Oh well, I'll still have all day after 4PM ! I'm sure I'll do something!

There ......... that's much better!!! :ROTFL:

Now we have room for the radiator! Well ... on one side, anyway!
Now I'll cut a template and weld in a new piece of thicker sheetmetal to reinforce it again. Move to the other side and repeat, then, make up some brackets from the parts I have and the radiator mounts will be 75%.

Now .... I have an appt. at the eye Dr. ! I broke my glasses and I GET A NEW PAIR! The old ones I bought in 2001!

Up and getting ready for work now! I should be off @ 3P, so give me a call or stop by after that.

You going to the G.R. Apple Fest, or up to Tecumseh for the Appleumpkin Fest? Oh well, maybe I'll talk to you this afternoon sometime.

I really didn't think that the GR that you were refering too was grand rapids... You drove right past my house... that probably would have been a good time.

No Sir, Grand Rapids Ohio, not Grand Rapids MI. Grand Rapids Ohio is only about 20 or so miles south west from Toledo.

Missed it again! :x My wife wanted to go up to Erie Orchard when I got home from work @ 3 ! But noooooooooooooo! I had to go pick up my new eyeglasses! Shoulda gone .... we'd have probably seen you up there!

This week I plan on being out in the garage every evening. If you want to stop by, feel free! I'm going to finish the driver's side rad. support and cut the fill in pieces, and start on the dash.
