Hello,
I'm Sarah (owner of a lifted 06 liberty sport) and new to the LOST forum of the Bluegrass. (GO CATS!!!) First off, I think it's AMAZING that there is other KJ owners with sweet looking KJ's and love them as much as I do. I'm from the Somerset (Lake Cumberland) area, and as of right now I'm the only lifted KJ where I live. Ever since the lift went on and I started modding it, I've received so many questions and comments. I tried showing my Jeep at the last Somernite's Cruise but all the stinking Vettes beat me there, plus I was late. So there was no where for me to park to show. I've sunk almost $3,000 into my KJ and the amount keeps rising. When I get it paid off I'm either doing a SFA Swap or buying another Jeep. Haven't made my mind up yet!

Current Mods:
Custom Rhino Lined fenders and bumpers
2.5" Daystar Lift Kit
Hella 500FF foglights mounted on front bumper
Toyo Open Country 245/75/16's on stock Alloy's
Flowmaster Super 40
Cobra CB Radio w/ 24" antena
Sony X-PLODE CD player
Reese trailer hitch
Red and Black seat covers w/ matching steering wheel cover
black tire cover
custom made lightbar (work in progress)
UK license plate
tow hooks and d-ring (ordering soon)
Safari Snorkel (getting for christmas)
Window tint all the way around
Labor and Repairs that went into the Jeep

Here is the link to my CARDOMAIN Page
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3812929

Have a look at it. That's where all my pictures of my KJ are at. Sometimes I just take random drives in my Liberty with the windows down and the sunroof open. Nothing more relaxing than a drive in my KJ. This Jeep DOES go through the woods and does some wheeling; but I also baby it ALOT. If any KJ Bluegrass owners see this, please reply. Because it is my DREAM to get a group of LOST KJ Owners from KY and go on a wheeling trip. Or take a group to the last Somernites Cruise and show our Jeeps (maybe next yrs too).

Happy Jeeping!
:JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:

Welcome from north of the river! Nice looking Liberty. The Ohio group usually gets one maybe two off roading meets per year somewhere in Ky.
I have a guy in our Fbody club who tries to make the somernight cruises, he has a killer Dodge Ram SRT-10 with the viper motor and a 96 Impala SS that's totally awesome.

Welcome. I like your Jeep.. looks good. Some friends and I usually hit Turkey Bay OHV area in western KY at least a couple times a year. Maybe we need to get some LOST Bluegrass members to go as a group sometime.

Hey thanks! You have some KILLER vehicles. Tell your friend that he needs to get down to the last Somernites Cruise for the year. It's going to be great! Would love to see his SRT-10. Any chance you can get me a link w/ pictures of it?

Here's the pics of his vehicles. Must be nice being a retired police officer with your only bills being how much money you can sink into your vehicles..... :dizzy: I think he quit counting @ $75k on the Impy mods.
We call him Big Dave,....you see him you won't forget him, one big man he is.

Oh my! His rides are soooo nice! I want the SRT-10 myself :) Well, I'm going to school to be a police officer. So maybe when I retire, I'll be able to have money to do stuff like that. By the time I retire, I'll be restoring 2008 Challenger SRT 8's!!!

I've just moved back to Somerset from California. I was parked at the McDonald's on North 27 a couple of weeks ago and when I came out there was a lifted black liberty parked next to my green renegade (frankenlift w/ yellow Norcal L.O.S.T sticker). Was that you?

There was a young lady sitting in it (glasses, shoulder length dark hair). I kinda feel bad for not speaking  , but I'm kind of an old coot and didn't want to seem like a creepy old guy

Either way welcome! I'm just as new to KY forums myself.

It's a jeep thing, my levels of perception are sufficient to ascertain your implication

NO WAY!!! That was you???? HAHAHA!!!! yes that was me...:)
i freaking love your crd kj. i took pics of it and put them on my cardomain, lol. hope you don't mind. you didn't look too old. i actually waited for the owner to come out of mc d's so i could talk to them, but when i saw you i was too shy to say something. i've done alot more to it since you saw it last. maybe we could meet up sometime and go out oil center. i think you would like it. there's a group of people that i can round up to go. i'll private message you about it...

Oh, it's working like a charm! I really like it. It's given me alot more ground clearance and made it alot taller. Especially when I was running the 32's for 2 weeks, that made it even more taller!!!! I recommend this lift kit to any KJ owner wanting to lift their KJ. When you do buy this liftkit and if you have the money to do it, buy a stiffer springs, new shocks, etc. Because if you run the stock suspension parts, it will sag abit after awhile. Especially if your KJ has some mileage on the stock suspension parts. Well with any suspension parts old or new, they will sag but the new parts will give you a tad bit more lift.

they were temporary tires until i had the money to buy new tires. the 32" firestone destination mt's had less than 50% tread and in some spots they were bare. plus i borrowed them off my uncle and had to return them when i was finished with them. so he could put them on the farm truck to get to work this winter and haul off cattle.
