I know this is not the most appropriate way to do this but I am out of choices. I am looking for Martin I have tried calling e-mailing everything possible and nothing. The reason I have come to this point of desperation is because I have hit a deer and now need his bumper to finish my repairs. My buddy owns a licensed shop here and has taken my jeep for the repairs and is willing to put the rock lizard bumper in place of my original instead. But has to report to the insurance company that it was done with original jeep parts. And my insurance company has now given him 2 weeks to get it done. So could some one please let him know that I am looking for him and to call me whenever he gets a chance pm me and I can give you my number. Once again I am sorry it has come to this but this was my final option just hope someone can help me.

if it was me i would just go out and get a ARB i know of 2 other people that still have not gotten there bumpers yet ... the main part og the bumper looks good but the top half where the turn signals are it does not look that great :2cents:

Rock Lizard's back bumper, rock rails and racks look good

You're right... not very appropriate... just sayin'

If you need a bumper right away, the ARB would be the right choice... or stock.

i dont see it as not all that inappropriate. just because he makes a good product and usually has good customer service shouldnt grant him immunity to someone coming out saying they had a bad experience. i ordered sliders from RockLizard and it took months to get them, was originally told 3-4 weeks. also when i first started asking why i hadnt seen them at my door i left email after email and voicemail afer voicemail and did not get replys. i posted up on the forum and apparently someone passed on the word to him because he ended up PMing me a few days later said they had shipped that day. then took another couple weeks to actually arrive. he was said to have closed up shop and was finishing off orders and being done for a while. i know production can be slow at times but maybe dont take any orders until you can catch up or at least tell people to be expecting a while longer. i dont know the case of the original poster and how long he has already had to wait but hopefully he can get it worked out to fix his deer incident.

He put fabbing new bumpers on Hiatus a while back so he could put more time into family. If you need a new front bumper now, better go looking somewhere else.

If it's on a credit card put it in contest and get your money credited back to you.

I spoke with him on the phone two weeks ago. At that time, he was working to complete orders, which includes front bumpers. Once RL finishes the orders, I'm pretty sure that he's going to start on rear bumpers. There are a few of us who have ordered rear bumpers. With this being Thanksgiving, I don’t know if he’s even home.

I don't quite understand why the bloke in question can phone you, dieselenthusiast, and not the plethora of people that have been waiting on product for as long as some have.

I've the misfortune of being privy to some informations of the goings on across the pond, and quite frankly, I don't understand how the fellow is still alive. It must be a result of your country being extremely large and impoverished, and nobody being able to finance such a trip, after spending a thousand quid on goods that never arrived.

Bear in mind I only know what I've read and heard, but when there are multiple people that are experiencing the same thing, I'd have to say that it's quite a disturbing trend of people getting shafted, if you catch my meaning.

He didn’t call me, I called him. And it helps that I know his work schedule. :goink:

Who's the plethora of people waiting on product?

I believe there is a certain unamable person in Ohio that is waiting somthing........

I would agree with welsh, seeing the turnaround times on some of these products has kind of made me turn tail. And I thought he closed up business awhile back.....I must not have got the memo :D

Well I guess I'll post my experience with RL. Like Dirty I waited I think I had more patience then he did. I was told 2 times my sliders shipped, when I didn't get them I finally got ahold of Marty by email and he said that they would be shipped like the next day. Plus he'd send me a gift card. Well they werent shipped the next day but I did get them. No gift card. My drivers side is off by about 1/4 from fitting correctly were it mounts to the uni-frame. Other than that the product looks good, welds are clean. I'd rate product a 7 out of 10 and customer serves 2 out of 10.

When I ordered my Super Skins Sliders the end of October he let me know up front that it would be 4-6 weeks+, and I was willing to wait for them as I understood he was overloaded. He also emailed me last week with a progress update and let me know I wasn't forgotten. I don't know what time frame others were given when they ordered their product from him, but so far he has kept to what he told me.
