OK guys and gals, sorry this took so long but here are the links to the Fumoto valves. You will need to order the F108N and the CDR108. They are both in the same drop down menu. If you want the 2ft hose to go with it you will need to go to accessories to add it to the cart. These will ship the end of this week.

AWESOME!

I think I'll end up ordering the one without the nipple. Just because I've never had any trouble draining the oil through the hole in the skid plate. And also because I have seen these skids get bent off-road and the more space between the skid and this valve, the better!

Sounds logical, but if the nipple becomes a problem just cut it off with hacksaw. It's soft brass and will cut off easy.

One thing I need to mention. These adapters are made of brass and if you strong arm these things they will break. I will not replace a broken adapter because you tightened it to much. I have had a few guys do this before. I can't beleive the amount of orders all ready received. I would like it if you place the order online, it makes it easier to keep track of.

I was going to ask....what is the recommended torque to tighten these things with? Someone needs to give us a guideline here.

Tnese are not torqued as tight as OEM plug, my guess would be about 10 to 12 lbs. I remember one guy put his in with lock tight because he was afraid it might not be tight enough at that kind of torque to stay put. I seem to remember the valve comes with instruction about how to install and I think it is a screw in by hand then when it snuggs up do another 1/2 turn or something like that. These are brass and you don't torque them to 20 to 30 lbs, I know the one is still in my old Jeep Cherokee after all these years and 1/4 million miles.

Just a bit of information, the thread in the pan is something that is not available and has to be machined. Also the adapter is made just like the OEM plug so you will reuse the seal that is on the plug now with the adapter.

Ok how do you get that little seal off? I just changed my oil, ( I know i should have waited for the valve, but Iam leaving tomorrow out of town and changed it) it doesnt come off all that well. Do I just go to the dealer to get a new one?

Just take your pocket knife and pop it lose then screw it off.

I got one from the dealer and it was about 20 or 30 cents. But you should be able to get it off without much problem.

Just placed my order. Should I get a new drain plug seal from the dealer? On my bikes the drain plug uses a copper washer that is replaced after every oil change so that's what I'm used to. I'm looking forward to not having to mess w/ dropping the drain plug into my pan of hot oil anymore. Woohoo!

it's not necessary, but it won't cost 50 cents to replace it. Once the adapter and valve are screwed in, you will never need another washer.

OK the adapters came in today. So tomorrow a few will go out. I will have more valves to ship the rest on Friday. What I have on hand now will go to the first ones that ordered. Adapter looks great and the OE side looks just like to OE plug. Just remember not to over tighten, if you brake the adapter you will have to buy another. We are going to put on in the pan we have here and use a torque wrench on it so we can see what it will take. This is not rocket sceince and you shouldn't have to use a torque wrench but we will try to give a value.

Thanks Greg.
Just got confirmation of shipment. Coming at the perfect time too, just turned 4,000 miles today. Ready for the first oil change. I'll take it to the dealer for the oil change and put in the adapter/plug. Then I'll try to have TSB 18-008-06 and the transmission dip-stick TSB done also.
