I'll bet you have zero torque with that setup.

Yea the torque is so low that the jeep has no trouble keeping a gt mustang behind it up to 110mph...frickin shame! :goink:

Gawd... that's one SICK Mustang. Must be on 3 cylinders.

My buddy runs 3" exhaust on his '07 Cummins. For a small engine like ours, that's got to be absolutely killing your torque. I'd love to see a dyno on your Jeep. I'm betting you're under stock numbers. I'd put money on it.

:ROTFL:

You just named to engines that are 6 + liters almost 3x that of our little 2.8L. I wouldn't say that you are below stock levels with that exhaust but I don't think you would see anymore gains then with a 2.5' cat back. But to each there on and i hope you have a large intake to go with that exhaust. Now if you were to do this fully open exhaust on a gas motor you would be killing your torque curve.

So I did a 2.5 straight pipe right after the cat (cut off the flange) directly to the tail pipe after the muffler (lined up perfectly because of the flex pipe in front of the cat)

It sounds fine, haven't noticed any real performance yet.

Any suggestions on muffler to make it sound better? I do NOT want to hinder the flow, so I am assuming my only option is a glasspack? (the thrush is 28 bucks on summit)

I saw the magnaflow ones dips down to 2 1/4 inside if you get the 2 1/2 inlet/outlet, so that is a no go for me.

I would suggest a cherry bomb of any kind. I have a cherry bomb vortex and love it sounds really nice now. Almost like a turbo SBC which is exactly what i was looking for.
