So if you could own any Jeep what would it be? Feel free to name the model and maybe some mods. I know some people might name like every mod in the book but whatever keep it real :? .
Personaly, I'd like a brightass red JK. Throw on a 4" lift, some 18" blacked out Rockstar wheels and 38" TRUXUS STS tires. Put a locker in the rear and regear. These are simple mods that could be reached. This is something that could be driven everyday, and look good enough to take downtown  ....if I was gonna get wild I would say throw a Hemi in it haha.

But anyways....

4-door Wrangler, converted to a pickup with a 5.5' bed, Cummins 4BT engine, Dana 60 rear/44 front, 33" BFG MTs, 6-speed manual tranny, leather seating, A/C, Sirius radio, cruise control. That's about the perfect vehicle right there. Too bad Jeep is too stupid to make it.

JK Unlimited, Rubicon, Silver, and let the modding begin. Lift, Tires, etc........ My oldest son will get my KJ in a few years as his first vehicle, so maybe then...

Then again, I have always wanted a CJ8 too.

Always wanted a Scrambler as well.

Either that or a Jeepster/Commando.

When I was younger my father had a 1984 CJ7 Laredo V8 with an automatic transmission. White with a brown interior. I've been looking and haven't even ever seen another CJ7 Laredo. Would be nice to dig one of those up.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with a 2006 Cummins 5.9 in line 6 turbo diesel. Dry sump oiling manditory just so that the engine fits. Full modes up to about 700 HP. remove factory fuel tank and add a twin tank one for start up diesel and a veggie tank. wicked fast and burning free fuel.

Without a doubt the very rare Jeep M-678 or M-679

I really wish Jeep made a modern mid-size van.

This is exactly what I NOW want! It's cool, and rare. I've had a number of Jeeps over the years, so far I like my '04 Renegade the best. I wouldn't mind having that AEV Brute though. No additional mod's, just want it the way it is.

OK, I'm modifying my answer. The ImMortal is pretty cool, but it's not really my style (just like portal axles). So, when I'm given this ImMortal, I keep it for a year, then I sell it to my friend in Phoenix for which it would be perfect. And I sell it to him for half value, because I'm just that kind of guy.

Then, with the proceeds I buy a Jeep Gladiator, diesel, with a 3" lift, 33" tires, lockers, and a tonneau cover to keep people from stealin' my stuff.

I'm stealing this idea from OldSkull, see his reply in http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=56859

Just found out that while the M-678 and M-679 are very rare some companies in Sweden were doing van and firetruck conversions on FC-150s and FC-170s. Thus Sweden would be a good place to locate and import from.

JK 4 door Unlimited body set onto an '07 4X4 2500 Dodge Ram Cummins Chassis with an Aftermarket Overdrive for fuel economy when not towing. May need to lengthen the hood a little to get the engine to fit, small detail. Toss up between a SunCoast 68RFE with the 800 HP gear cluster and a six speed manual.
My dream would make good use of a 2WD JK and a rolled over Ram Cummins. What an environmentally friendly way to go by recycling.

That way I could get a cramp in the middle topside of my left forearm when the term EPA is spoken.
