I was at the dealer a few weeks ago to pick up a part for my vehicle and was surprised to see a Liberty CRD in the shop with the head off. I asked the mechanic what the problem was with the CRD and he said that they had to send the head out for inspection because it was leaking coolant.
The jeep had 189,000 miles on it.
On another note, a craigslist listing for a used CRD indicated that there was major engine problems with the vehicle and would not start, the owner said that the cause was low coolant.
Here's the ad:
