As of this week I was down to ONE working window. By my estimate this makes either 12 or 13 broken window regs on my 2006. Every time one would break I would think back to the moment of purchase. Do I buy the silver one or the Dark khaki model? I literally had them side by side for 15 minutes. In my dreams the dude that ended up with the silver one never has any window issues

But to the dealer's credit, they replaced all four today!!! The work was done at no cost and the war. has been extended to 84 months!! Kudos to Chrysler for doing the right thing. Looks like I will be buying another jeep when the kj is retired.

Nice to hear jeep is doing the right thing and treating you right. I have been very lucky and have not had a regulator failure yet on my 04.

That's good to hear. It's been stated before in other threads but, Chrysler sent a lot of people a letter explaining the extended warranty, and a form to fill out and mail in to possibly receive a refund for repairs of window regulators prior to the extended warranty. I mailed mine a few weeks ago, and Chrysler's customer service called me the other day to let me know I'd be receiving a check for the full amount requested. It might be worth calling Chrysler about if you've shelled out a bunch of money in the past for the repairs.
